For NDVO applicants

You will always get a faster reply to your mail if you address them to immigration section of CHC at delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca as opposed to CSE link https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi ( this comes from personal experience)

You can send your PPs/RPRF draft/ meds proof by Blue Dart as Fedex has a company policy of not accepting shipments which contain Passports. Blue Dart will deliver To CHC , immigration section office directly & not to their PO Box. The fastest delivery option they have is Priority 10:30 which costs Rs 450 from Mumbai to Delhi.

Applicants with representatives please be after them to get updates on your application. Remember for them it's just a work, but for you it's your dream, your plan.

I submitted my updated proof of funds on 6th of Feb, as it was asked on 31st Jan, do you any idea how much more i have to wait for MR/PPR.

This unexpected wait is killing me, i cant concentrated on my current job, cant plan for vacations.

If you scroll down it says

3152 Registered Nurses 3012 Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses - cap filled since July 19, 2011
1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management 1122 Professional Occupations in Business Management Consulting - cap filled since July 11, 2011

Does this mean that 1122 cap was filled by July 11, 2011 and even more surprising is that for 3012 cap reached on July 19, 2011
Whereas according to the CIC website Cap was not reached till mid Aug.

Dear friends,
I have already written My application was rejected because I scored 65 points only. I do believe the officer was wrong. My PhD was not assessed because the officer was non satisfied with documents provided. As you know Masters and PhDs get 25 points. I showed 19 years full-time education (11 years school, 5 years - university (specialist diploma) and 3 years - post graduate course. I have provided certified translated copy of state issued PhD diploma. What else could I send to the office? Any experience from Russian PhDs? It seems I missed Master degree level to get PhD one. That is why he refused my level. But I surely heve level higher then Bachelor, at least Master.
So, now I am waiting for letter from CIC. And I still have some question on my case.Can I appeal to court? Or it is better to apply new application with additional documents at next time? What can you advise me? I am especially interested in Russian applicants experiense.

My suggestion is to apply again if your NOC is not capped already. If it is, you can wait till July and see if your NOC will be on the list again.
Unfortunately, that is a common issue for diplomas from Eastern Europe and Russia, where the clear Western educational system (having bachelor, master or PhD) is not fully adopted yet.
If you do decide to apply again you can probably write some kind of a cover letter explaining the jump from bachelor to PhD degree. They should be awarding you the points for at least a master degree.
