hi guys! sorry i havent been updating with the forums. I took my time with the passport submission. CEM got them on jan23 after the chinese new year then the visa was issued last jan31. thats an impressive 8 days of processing. kudos to CEM! its been a roller coaster ride since getting the visa. happy and sad at the same time due to preparations, resignations and saying good byes to friends, colleagues and family.

congratulations to those who got good news on their applications!

So, it is more like a second AOR. Congrats to that. It does not make any difference if you are single. Interview is not based on being single. Interview is requested when the vo is not convinced of any of the documents that you have submitted. Just relax and wait for your time.

I sent an email to London,VO on 2 Feb, 2011 and today they replied that Your file is pending an officer review...

I hope to hear good news soon...I am the only person in this forum who applied under 0811 category,

I am from karachi....

By the way does it matter if you are single? They might call me for an interview?

I dont think so buddy, It does not affect on your application. But processing could be quicker because if you are single it means VO need to check only your background not anyone els. I could be wrong.

Hi,

Some friends who applied before and after me i.e. 16 August 2011 have already got their Medical request.

On inquiry to Visa office London, they wrote to me,

Dear Sir,

No mail has been sent to you. Your file is pending an officer review.

KLH (Client service Unit)

Any idea why they are not working on my file?

I think VO works on file according to NOC. Has anyone who applied after you got MR in your NOC ? This is just my understanding.

hi guys...
I need member's feedback for my situation...
I applied to CIC on 26th sept 2011.
got PER and after that AOR from NDVO on 24th january 2012.
when I applied to CIC, my wife was pregnant and the same was declared with my application along with medical reports.
After that my wife delivered baby girl on 28th september 2011 and same was informed to CIC along with birth certifficate of new born baby.
and same I informed to NDVO as well....
also during application process, we updated my wife's passport(inclusion of my name as a spouse and address). also I updated my passport and updated my wifes name in to my passport.

so now how do I inform all these changes to NDVO...?
kindly give your feedback/suggestions.

Hello Mitesh,

I have a couple of doubts here. So, how did you inform NDVO about the birth of your daughter? You should inform NDVO through case specific enquiry form available in the link below.

That is most reliable form of communication with NDVO or applicant's local vo. Did you get any reply from them reagarding the list of documents they require for adding child to application?

If NDVO has not replied to your child's birth intimation, you can also go ahead and do it yourself. It is more or less like sending the whole application pack again.

1) Generic form
2) Additional family information form for YOU and your SPOUSE
3) Proof of funds
4) Notarized copy of birth certificate and passport of daughter
5) If you have not sent PCC with your initial application, good time to send them now.
6) Updated photo copies of you and your spouses passport (as names were added)
7) Photos of your daughter
8) Cover letter with file number and reason for sending these documents and list of documents enclosed in your packet.
9) Any other form which has dependant information requested on it.
