Some of my experience today that will help people going for their MRs. In New Delhi, the Medicals are done at Max Medcenter N110 Panchsheel Park and they have 4 doctors on the panel those are DMPs for Delhi, India.

Steps as I went through

1. Call up the Hospital.
2. Somebody from the Immigration department at the hospital will call you and schedule your Medicals with the DMPs and communicate the date and time to you
3. You go and fill up a medical regstration form
4. You wait for a while and then submit the form with the photocopy of the passport and original passports and the copy of the letter from your VO requesting for medicals.
5. You wait again and then your name is called for the payment of the fees ( 3200 Rupees ) in India per person
6. You pay the fees and then a cover page is printed and attached with your forms
7. Post this procedure, you are given instructions to first go for your blood and urine samples.
8. Post this,. you will be requested to channge into hospital clothing and then proceed for your chest X-ray
9. Lastly, you will be asked to meet the DMP who will ask you questions ( generic ) and specific to your blood and urine samples. ( surprising that your results reach the DMP so quickly while you are still in the process of completing your tests )
10. DMP may or may not ask you for more tests ( I have tattoos on my body , so I had to go for blood sample again and that suposedly will give some results on the consition of my kidneys )
11. After this, you will need to go back to the immigration department of the hospital and they will ask you to write down the address of the VO where you would like the result sto be sent (In case the VO is different from the city whereyou are getting the Medicals done)

This is the whole process and took approximately 4 and a half hours for me .

Wish all the very best to all you guysl..Stay safe and Be Happy. Smiles go a looooong way in Medicals.

Cheers

It seems you had a fine day. Thats good. Good luck

Hi Luckymystery,

what do you mean by reply label?

In my MR letter they have said to use the enclosed reply lable to send the documents back to LVO but there was no lable that came out of the envelop!!!

I thought that since I dont have to send anything back to them, I am okay. I am assuming that I will pay RPRF online (but looks like I am wrong and there must be a form somewhere on the site that I need to fill my card details and send)

Any suggestions?

You should go and visit the Pictures I posted couple of pages back.

You will see fee instructions and reply label, how they look like. And what fee instructions say. To my understanding of those fee instructions RPRF shoulb be paid via Bank draft and RPRF must be accompanied by the copy of Cover letter they sent us containing our file number.

You should visit these links for sure;

And also these pages of cover letter. (Front page against RPRF says Bank Draft is required. This office does not accept online fee payment.)

Thanks for this. Very useful.

So it seems I have not received fee schedule and the lable.

My envelop had 3 papers - MR letter with file number lable, medical examinations instructions and Section A form.

I will print out your lable and use that. I am assuming we are all supposed to use the same address??

Thanks very much again for posting the scanned copies.

Dear All,

I have a question and will REALLY APPRECIATE your guidance / feedbacks here.

Since I was in Manila when I applied for Immigration, I chose Manila VO as my preffered Visa Office. However, I moved to India and I informed Manila VO of the same. Now that I recieved my MR and RPRF request through postal mail in India, I got my Medicals done here and asked the DMP to send the results to the Visa section for CIC in Manila. No problem with this one!!

Now since I have also been asked to deposit the RPRF and the only means of payment are certified cheques, bank drafts and other commited fund instruments like Managers cheque etc, that has put me into a situation here. I have funds in my Philippines bank account and have the cheque book with me here in India but unfortunately they do not accept personal cheques.

WHAT DO I DO ... PLEASE ... ANY HELP will be MUCH APPRECIATED.

Thanks in advance

GOD BLESS
