This morning brings a wonderful news for me. I got the request of MR, RPRF and PCC. I am really happy.

I received it about an hour before. The date of my letter was 13.01.11. Unfortunately I have to do MR next month as I will be out of my city due to a job training.

My best wishes for those forum members who are waiting for their PER/MR/PPR.

Hi All

Again, the letter that came to me through snail mail mentioned MR, RPRF and PCC . Now, Is it necessary to have these sent together or seperately ?

I understand that the Medicals will go directly to the VO , what about PCC and RPRF. Should I send the RPRF now or wait till I get the meds done ?

PCC might take like a 15 days to obtain here in New Delhi. Since I was in Manila and applied in Manila VO, They also asked me to do the NBI clearance. For NBI, I already went to the Philippines Embassy and did the NBI formalities and send the pack to my friend in Manila and hopefully he will be able to obtain the NBI clearance.

I guess what I am asking is whether to ask him to courier back the NBI clearance certificates to me and then combine them with the PCC from Delhi and then send them together with the RPRF or should I send the RPRF , Let the meds reach them as per process and ask my friend to deposit the NBI clearance at the CEM and I send the PCCs when they come ?

Do I run a risk of documents getting lost / unnoticed if not sent together or am I just being over cautious ?

Any feedbacks / comments are very welcome ?

To my understanding dear. You should send all the documents in one envelope. And let the MR to be sent by DMP when DMP is done with its reporting.

Hello Big O,

Is it mandatory that one must update his or her status in terms of marriage, birth etc after he/she must have been In Process. What if you decided to do that after you must have arrive in Canada and decide to invite your family?

A friend is having a minor issue about that and don't want update to slow down his/her processing time. But want to complete the process and invite the family later.

Please I need a reply.

Although you asked Big O. wait for his reply too.
To my understanding one must update. As later he will face trouble for family sponsorship, as will be considered hiding/misrepresentation of facts.

Dear AUA,
Your friend is providing his VO with faulty information (single when in fact he was married at the time of processing) so they may find in that a reson to revoke his PR status later on when they find out about this info, or ,if he is lucky, they may allow him to invite his wife which is another lengthy process.

My advice, is to either postpone the marriage or carry on with it but inform His VO about it.
I would go for the second choice because it is the right thing to do, plus it is easier (as they will only ask him for few documents like updated family info and marriage certificate) which will not delay the process for too long while they might consider the possibility of "marriage of conveniance" (not sure if I used the right word here), which will complicate the situation for everyone involved.

Tell your friend, its better to be late than to never have it or to lose it after having it. PR status will be revoked (most likely) in the lieu of hiding/misrepresentation of information/facts.

Done with medicals , I guess next they review the results and if all ok, they issue PPR? Once they get passports they do security checks..?? Am I right?

Your friend has to inform the Visa Offce ASAP! Always better to go the right way than take the supposedly easier way.. If he doesn't inform them now, at one point his whole process may get jeopardized..
