I have a question:

in the EG7.pdf. page18, it says:
Documentation submitted with your application will not be returned. You should obtain multiple originals of any documentation submitted with your application (such as reference letters, police certificates) so you are prepared if you need to submit a new application.

in the EG7.pdf. page 51, it says:
your entire package (including your payment) will be returned to you with a letter of explaining why it is being returned.

in the new check list, it says:
Note: if your application lacks any of the documents listed in this checklist, it will be returned to you.

I am really confused, will they return it or not?

On page 18, they are trying to say that if you are successful with your application the documents that you have submitted will no longer be returned to you, otherwise....

hi friend, u need to get ref letter from ur superior with 75 to 80 % duties are matching. what is ur proffession and qualification?
have u gone thru job duties under noc 2121 in cic site?

shijoal

Thanks Shijoal. I dont think it would be possible for me to get a letter with 70-80% matching duties since the management are very particular about what they write in the exp letter and one cannot tailor it their own needs. I worked as an assistant manager in quality control department and I have 1 1/2 yrs of R&D experience...put together >3 and< 4 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. I did go through the JD in CIC website.

Actually you don't really need 75% to 80% of the duties.

We matched only 4 out of the 8 duties for industrial pharmacy, and one of those was borderline/implied duty - so I think 50% is usually sufficient. It probably depends on the discretion of the visa officer and the strength of your case, however.

Wayne.

Thanks Wayne. I hope CIC will have atleast one technical person in each NOC who should be able to make the decision on the job experience.

if your application found is incomplete then they will return you only the fee, not the rest of the documents. they will keep all the documents for their record.

otherwise ....

if cap is reached they will return you all the documents including fee.then they will not keep any of your record.

so they want to say that if you wish to reapply, for that you should have multiple originals so that you can reapply before the cap reached.

Hi dear friend
I can see in the table there is a column whose title is "Application received by" and there are some names there, also you have written the name who is "St John's, NL " but I don't know who has received my application, so I would like to know you if you got any email from this person or CIO?

St John's is a city in the province of NL (Newfoundland and Labrador). That is where I hope to live when I move to Canada. My application was received and signed for by DOUG since it was sent through DHL. I did not receive an email from CIO. I just noticed on my Credit Card that CIC charged their fee today. Hope this helps clarify your question.

yeah! Everyone should remember that only 3% of the applicants (last year 26 Jun 2010 to 30th June 2011) are from this forum. It won't be very different this year.

Can anyone analyse how they are charging CCs cos my application was received on 8th july & was charged last friday but there are still lots of 6th & 7th applicants that are still outstanding.

Any "bright" ideas ?
