@ Ravi, congrats on your PER and I miss you too budy.
@ Westpoint, I am sure about the security check after MR but I don't remember where I read it. The VO sends a request to the SS and informs them that an applicant is going to be approved. This takes place for all applicants unlike the BG check that is done on % basis.

My Ecas has been updated to medicals received, which means that the process is allost over and I can expect a PPR very soon,

I have a good news to share with you.My online status has been changed in "IN PROCESS" on Jan 11.It was "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE" before.Still wait for another good news which will be MR and PPR of-course and please keep praying for each other.

I need help on this,

I just want to know that whats the difference between DD and BD.

As i don't have foreign currency account so banks here don't issue BD so i'll have to go to money exchanger for DD that's what I did when i sent my application to CIO.

1-Now i want to know that will DD serve the purpose of RPRF (as in the instruction of MR it says BD only) and
2-it should be to whose name? will it also go to "The receiver general for Canada"?

Looking for answers.

After going thru the ss and earlier post by senior forum members i realised that although the cic showed cap full for this noc filled on 8th december it was filled much earlier.

0631 capped by around mid sep. But the next MI is around the corner. Only 5 months to go. Please be prepared to apply as soon as they announce MI4. Keep everything ready to go.

It sometimes takes upto 2 to 3 months to get back you application.

I have gathered from other threads on this forum (you can go looking for them too, it is very informative), that you may expect them to ask about the minutest detail of your job. You may be asked things like how you got your job and turnover of the company, to of course the obvious details like your salary, job duties etc.

So there's really nothing to prepare as such, since you would definitely know the minutest details of your job and your company, So there's nothing to worry.

sometime these employers are are not trustworthy, you never could tell the kind of response they give on your behalf.
Anyway from my observations so far, it seem CIC depends only on the employment document supplied by the candidates

What i am unable to understand is, i read people saying that London VO sends MR after PER.
But you have got AOR as well.

Please let me know the detail as i have just got my PER I shall be thankful.

Actually its about the first AOR which used to be send by the CIC. They don't send it anymore. The only AOR we get now is 2nd AOR from VOs other than LVO. I just used the field to indicate the encashment date. N I m afraid its bit misleading indeed.

It's been a while since I logged in... Too busy at home ... since last two weeks my help at home has gone on vacation. So, doing all housework! , getting a taste of life in Canada for me!! am enjoying it though!!

Just wanted to update that we went for our medicals finally today... Had a general physical examination, urinalysis, blood test and x-ray. Took the RPRF Bank Draft and we will send it today...

From what I know..

Demand draft means- fro eg: buying a 550 cad $ in a bank but the demand draft can only be encashed in a specific bank...for 6months only.


bank draft - buying 550 cad $ in a bank but the recipient can en cash it and deposit it to ANY bank.for 6months only.

manager's bank - same as with buying a 550 cad$ in a bank..can be deposited to any bank..for 3months only..



RPRF should be addressed to your local vo..for eg "Canadian Embassy,Manila"




Both are same thing and can be deposited into reciever account of any bank where receiver has opened account.
