We applied for reconsideration on 14th June, 2022. We received this email from our webform enquiry on the same day.
"Good day,

We are waiting for the their reply. I have seen threads that even if your reconsideration is refused they will send us an email mentioning that.
Since I mentioned this reason is not applicable to us as we did not apply for eta but rather study permit and we should get visitor visa with it.
Also to mention in the reason it says in 10 year period their is no record if my brother held any temporary visa for Canada which he did in 2017. So either way this reason is not appropriate to us.
What do you guys think if we go for judicial review? How long is the process and how much it might cost?
Please any advise or suggestions are welcomed.

Application submitted for Judicial Review on 10 April 2022
Received confirmation from registry office on 10 April 2022
Notice has been served to Abu Dhabi Office same day by the registry office
GCMS Noted (Written Reasons) Received on 29 April 2022
Applicants Record submitted to IRCC lawyer and federal court on 28 May 2022
IRCC Lawyer will submit memorandum and affidavit within 30 days (NOT REQUIRE NOW Because)

How beautiful moments could be if next week principal applicant get her study permit then automatically child visa will be approved after settlement, InshaAllah our Almighty Allah listening our prayers, little happy but now more curious to see what happens with principal applicant study permit decision which expected this week inshaAllah as PPR
Agree but when one month completed then its matter of days to weeks either it can be 1 day or 10 weeks. Hard time is first 30 days and then decision may come any time. The longest time waiting was 56 days from 10 Sep to 5 November 2021 for first application which was refused.
Judicial review waiting time from adr submission 23 april and continuing 18 June. Its also 56 days now so it means this will be up to first refusal timeline and more longer as tomorrow Sunday
