Nope . this is the timeline of one who refused a JR and simply went for re-application from home country. As i have always preached from my timeline. Being a UAE resident means nothing …i dont know how many times i have to say it

Do you mean you did a JR and it was dismissed by the judge?

No JR was done . i have only been following this thread because i wanted to see which was better to re-apply from home country or go for JR from abu dhabi office… now it’s obvious i made the right choice

Was it for a masters program? and what were your previous refusal reasons? did you change anything in your application other than applying from home country?

yes its my wifes second masters ….
previous refusal reasons where same on both tries…and gcms notes we ordered where also generated using chinook 3+ …it was boldly written at the bottom of our notes..
Ties to home country or canada
Immigration status (accorded less weight cz we are UAE residents)
limited employment prospect( cz we where trying to prove we will come back to UAE )
purpose of visit

Good to see that it worked out for you.

Sorry but i didnt do a judicial review . I simply reapplied from my home country just as i have been advising @Greeny786 ….i wish everyone else pursuing a JR all the best
Love to see this happy news after long long time on this thread. We already moved to our home country arround 40 days now. The study permit application is in process after settlement during JR Process. ADR was submitted on 23rd April and now waiting for final decision. I hope it will work this time. Two additional poins were added in LOE/SOP. Flight tickets to proof strong ties in home country as advised by @aspirant256 and proof of property on wife name in home country evaluation 600,000 CAD$. Basically this property on my name but i attached stamp paper affidavit attested from oath Commissioner. Fees already paid in advance. Very much hopeful for PPR after settlement during JR

Great progress. I believe it takes 2-3 weeks after submitting to get PPR through JR [ stating from stories I have heard of people who ended up getting a visa in this route]

Wishing you the best

As everyone knows that The admin of this thread NILO0SI an iranian lady, she had two refusals and then pursued judicial review and received settlement and then finally got study visa in 2021. After that we did not see any case publically or on forums, groups etc. I now seen one more case of a lady from Pakistan who had been refused and then in judicial review she got settlement and then got PPR IN 2022. I sharing a video of her.....

After these two successful stories i am the third one who now waiting for final decion since 23rd April and really hoping for the ppr. As you know @Warvan was the only person we seen here and refused after settlement. We really need to know about his current progress for his second settlement during JR
