Joining NAIT, Alberta for Winter 2015 (2 years Diploma) but VISA only 6 months

Hello guys,

I just received my VISA for NAIT Instrumentation Eng Tech Program for Winter 2015. My program is for 2 years, however my VISA has been only issued for 6 months.

I cleared my CBSE 12th just this June with 90%, and 6.5 in IELTS. Made GIC and paid the fee in advance. Every document stated correct date and even the letter of acceptance mentioned program end date in December 2016. Yet, my Visa has been issued only until 5 April 2015. My passport expiry is not an issue as it expires in the year 2024.

I do not really understand why. Does anyone have any advice on this matter? Did it happen with anyone of you guys as well ? I contacted dozens of people in NAIT and other diploma programs with possibly much worse credentials and going into not so good programs. Everyone received VISA for the duration of the program

tat's vry awkward ...as i hav also applied for instrumentation in august buh haven't heard it back..could u plz tell me when u applied nd wen u got da offerletter..

what ? i got my visa yesterday nait 2 year pg diploma computer engineering technology .. for 2 years .

You must have filled out the paper work wrong. Call them asap and get this resolved.

No my paper work was absolutely correct. I verified it 100 times. I entered the correct dates on my form.

Is yours e-visa.??
I have too 1month less on visa.
My study completes on dec 16 but visa on nov 16.
But i had no visa on passport. I had got a letter describing the details and it says i would get the visa once i reach canada, so i will try getting it corrected when i am there
