It is hard to tell. Instead of "You may not hear from us for a little while,..."my status says" Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along." Though I am not sure what that mean.

So around two months. That's interesting. Hopefully there is a meaning to it or everybody should be getting the same message.

What number do you call ? I tried calling 1888-242-2100 few times and every time it says that they are busy with calls and then I get disconnected. I have no updates since 27 Sep which was for medicals and RCMP PPC.

Congrats. Don't worry about it now. Enjoy the Holidays. For online applications, you would be informed of the biometrics requirement incase they need it. You would see a biometrics request letter that would come in your EE profile messages.

The funny thing is that I never ever gave biometrics in Canada or before coming here. I came in 2014 and on a Study Permit. I only gave my medicals for the Study Permit. On arrival at Pearson, they checked my documents and Biometrics was not requested or submitted as far as I know. There was no...

I actually never gave my biometrics since I am in Canada. I was asked for fingerprint based RCMP PCC and that is the only time when I was fingerprinted.

I too see a change in page orientation but the status is same. And as far as I have read the "Ghost Update" only shows up for few hours and if you missed it, you won't know about it. BTW my application is showing 48% complete. AOR 6 Sep, 26 Sep MEP, and no request for Bio-metrics yet. Hopefully...

Getting Frustrated in Finding a JOB IN CANADA? READ ON! SOME OF MY EXPERIENCE TO MOTIVATE YOU!!

I don't agree with that as many personnel still address you with Sir/Madam. I come across that a lot. Even the cops address you Sir/Madam and it is just a more formal way of addressing than by name. In the end its not bad to call somebody Sir. I never heard that thing before.

Getting Frustrated in Finding a JOB IN CANADA? READ ON! SOME OF MY EXPERIENCE TO MOTIVATE YOU!!

I was too confused by that. I work in installation services and many people actually use 'Sir' while talking with me. I never felt odd about it and it actually looks more professional than calling somebody by an awkward name or a horribly pronounced one. And actually I think mostly older people...

I need canadian immigration consultants that can assist with temporary close/open work permit

You need to check with the job that you intend to do. Mostly all job permits require at least a basic ILETS score. https://www.canadavisa.com/contact-us.html

    Employment agencies in Canada

Try 'jobbank.ca' or 'indeed.ca', linkedin job sites to find jobs. For consultants randstad, kelly services, Robert half are a few. But these are mostly for IT. Different jobs have different consultancy services so you have to use google and look for yours.

Studying part time on a PGWP work permit?

The online masters won't count towards express entry points. You should have thought it before getting PGWP. Just find a full time job and after you have enough work experience, go for PR and then masters. You are also going to save a lot of money as a local student. If you want to study, you...

    Need suggestion

It is hard to answer like that. Mostly AB,MB,SK and atlantic PNP is easier compared to the rest of canada but it would vary a lot depending on your job. Iwent to NB/NS and had to come back to Ontario after 2 months living there as I could not get a job in NOC 0,A,B. Try making an express entry...

Best bank for new comers? CIBC or RBC?

I would go with Scotia as you can get the monthly fee waived for a minimum deposit of 3000-5000 as per the account chosen. Also you can get 'Credit Card like' rewards on the Debit Scene card. HSBC is not a Canada based bank and the branches are way less so not recommended. RBC is a better...
