joining my husband in canada

My visa in USA has expired and I have returned back to India with my daughter
My husband is presently living in the USA . He has a work permit for canada and will be leaving to Canada by March 2019 end
My daughter has a USA Passport
I wish to join my husband who has a two year work permit for Canada.
what type of visa do i have to apply
does my daughter who has a USA passport need to apply for visa to Canada

You and your daughter can use each USA passport to travel to Canada without visa.

Only my daughter has a valid USA Passport
I had a Valid H4 spouse Visa which was valid till December 2016 after which we my daughter and myself have returned back to India
I need to apply now from india

You can apply for a Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP). You may want to join one of the many threads on this topic on this website
