Congratulation and updated in the list.

The immigration noose is getting tight. Even the temporary foreign worker program in Canada rules has been changed making it more difficult to get in. You may check it here on this Migrating to Canada site.

Congrats. Was your address missing earlier, if yes then since when ??

All,

I have just received the below reply from CHC London, after i inquired about delayed Visa processing last week. (my details are;
Application Filled March 2010;
Full documents to CHC London in July 2010;
E-case "In Process with RBVO details" since Jan. 2010)

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

documents on file.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

Yours sincerely,

So they are still not sure when the processing may start for Pre June 2010 applicants....

Allah may help us all..............

Minister Kenney issues statement recognizing the Moon Festival

Ottawa, September 12, 2011 — The Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration, and Multiculturalism, issued the following statement recognizing the Moon Festival:

“The Moon Festival is one of the most-celebrated Chinese and Vietnamese holidays, which takes place on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, according to the Lunar Calendar. It is on this date—when the moon is its brightest and fullest—that Chinese and Vietnamese people celebrate the fruits of their labour by marking the end of the harvest season.

“Also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, many people around the world will celebrate the Moon Festival tonight, by watching the full moon, enjoying delicious mooncakes, and relishing the company of family and friends. Tales of folklore will also be shared amongst family and friends, adding to the rich history of the Moon Festival as these stories get passed down from generation to generation. “As Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, I extend my best wishes to all those celebrating the Moon Festival.”
