Kalat is the pakistani resident and CHC London march 2010 applicant.

Hi all,

I had applied to London visa office in March 2010 (documents sent) and i was asked additional docs (updated bakground + relative in Canada papers). An important point here is that they only asked me when i emailed them after 8 months of sending my docs (they had given this time frame on the acknowledgment letter). Once i sent them these docs in Dec 2010, they sent me medical papers in Mar 2011. After medicals i emailed them in July 2011 (after 4 months of medical) so they sent me the PPR. I have now sent the PP and waiting for my visa.

Hope my time line gives you an idea abt the time line at london visa office BUT one important thing to remember. I DID NOT GET ANY RESPOND UNTIL UNLESS I EMAILED THEM. So pls email them right when the suggested timescale elapses.

Another example of IN Process with same RBVO details and after this it converts into INProcess with starting date.

Hi all,

Just want to share, my eCas stated 'In Process' with RBVO details on June 14, 2011.
Then finally on July 5, it changed with the much awaited 'Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June 30, 2011.'

Hope this gives you some hope and idea how L.A VO is moving.

Thanks and good luck to all.

I have emailed them several times after the lapse of 08 months, but have not received any response even after 12 months of submitting my complete documents to CHC London....

Kalat may be very lucky... as emailing them do not always help, as not only witnessed by me but number of other applicants which shared their views on different forums....

Most important thing as highlighted, Kalat has relatives in Canada.......... which might be the reason for early processing!!!

Dear Zee81,

Please have faith and do not despair! I sent them an e mail on 22nd July and received their reply on the 8th day. Good luck to all !!! :) :) :)

This means when status changes to IP and date of processing line appears in the ECAS we must expect medical.
Whats your analysis Ali ?

2. WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

United Kingdom
Exercise normal security precautions

The British government's terrorism threat level for the United Kingdom is rated as "severe." This is the second-highest alert level and suggests that an attack is highly likely. Additional security measures are in place throughout transportation networks, including at airports. Travellers may experience delays. More information on these measures, including specific restrictions for carry-on-baggage, is available from the British Airport Authority. Canadians should exercise caution and maintain a high level of personal security awareness at all times and in all places.

Widespread violent riots and looting have been taking place in London, outlying areas and beyond since August 6, and have led to clashes between rioters and police. Unrest has occurred in Tottenham, Clapham, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Hackney, Brixton, Lewisham, Liverpool, Bristol, Birmingham and other areas. This list is not exhaustive. The situation remains unpredictable and the unrest could spread quickly to other areas. Canadians in affected areas should be vigilant, avoid all protests and gatherings, monitor local media for current information and follow the advice of local authorities.

Wait for last quater of 2011 and first quater of 2012.
Secondly wait for that when CHC London giving us GCMS facility and this is very important for all of us.

Dear GCMS is the new system which replace caipsnotes, some visa offices giving this facility but currently CHC London is not providing this facility.
In GCMS result DUE DATES are very important for us, check this below post you will understand.
