Friends I sent query to London Visa Office after 8 months passed to my 2nd AOR letter. I asked them how long further it will take... here is the response that I just got.

This is in response to your enquiry.

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Yours sincerely,

Very sad to see this, i was thinking that CHC London taking 18 months for whole process till visa but after reading above reply it looks CHC London taking 2 years OR above. :( :( :( .

Always pray.

Vowwwww!
Please stand Up, Give a 2 minutes silence for Minister Kenny and let us fart together. A good way to break the silence for Canada. :o

Yup things are really worst now. I did some simple calculation. I think we all should be aware of actual situation.

144K backlog files

68K visa to be issued in 2011... I think I read this figure somewhere some time ago

20K (approximately) visas for new MI

48K from Backlog.... so at the end of 2011 there will still be 96K backlog applicant atleast. and I just don't think that 2010 applicant can still make it in 2012 under the current rules or circumstances.

Now only hope lies in may be Liberal party wins and they make things flexible for next year.

By the way when do they have review meetings? I think it is somewhere in June. Last June they change the rules and let's see what they do this June... what are the thoughts guys?

Ur analysis is not that much close to reality, way out very simple : let us make it priority 2 and keep going with other options like sleeping, work, eating good meals, family time, freinds, social gatherings. Hope breathing in Pakistan wont be hard that much ...

I doubt the statement of the text as it is rare to find numerics or dates that seems and makes the text a bit diverted and modified. Is it credible enough to trust - have anyone found any letter similer to it?
