Its good but current situation is showing that its not true. :(

Date Modified: 2011-Feb-15

The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices outside Canada. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between January 1 and December 31, 2010. Processing times are subject to change.

Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010

London - United Kingdom 13 Months
Islamabad - Pakistan 12 Months
New Delhi - India 11 Months

my AOR from London mentions 12 months of avg processing time.

While for 20% cases:-
It may take longer or less than 13 months.

Well, again the timelines as per both AOR and given on CIC, its not more than 13 months. Ideally it should be processed for the 80% of cases.

Do we have any list of given timelines (Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010).

Further, it has clearly mentioned, the average time is only for those "who sent complete application package"

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

Yours sincerely,

In the first week of March 2011 i got the same reply. :(

So This means now we don't have any hope. Because after June 30. New cycle will start, they will start receiving applications for all the categories for which CAP is full now. So our case will go be pushed further down in the stack. :( :( :(

Yup, the news is true and Canada will gonna have elections most probably in May'2011, hope new government will take serious action to reform the current flaws in immigratoin system.

I ve read some stuff about Liberal's immigration policy and it seems they are more eager to have new immigrants to bolster Canadian workforce than their conservative counterparts just out of Govt........i believe the process will get faster once liberals are into govt......they have my vote for life if they do that.............. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
