my e case is in In process with started processing on 23 Feb 2012 and then I was requested to sent new photographs of family
which I sent and were received by CHC Ldn on in Feb 2012 from then I am waiting !!
other people who got the same request have received Medicals! As now days CHC LDN is sending medicals requests through regular post I fear that my packet is lost ! I am also in contact with local post office but no update from them !

I am have been sending email inquiries to CHC ldn but get the required response and Now I fear that I may cross any time limit which is given with medical or update request !!!
Please let me know how should inform this to CHC and also ask them to re Issuance medical request ??

When did chc ask u to submit pics, we have many people here who have sent additional docs and pics in March, and they did not get medicals yet. do u know someone who got medicals and has sent pics in march or end of Feb ?

I think Sufyan did not send any additional docs or pics, he got medicals direct, thats wahy he got early after the processing date.

Hi

Yes you can still add them by sending in their forms and fees. It will just take a little longer because security checks will be done for your family as well so that will take a little bit of time. Its better to add them in now because once you are in Canada you will have to meet certain criteria to apply for your family and also it will take longer for them to get a visa, so its better add them now.

Thanks for the advise. The instructions on the forms have always required me to provide their information (wether accompanying or not) so document wise they have everything since the first application. I am thinking of sending two demand drafts

1. Mine CAD 490
2. Wife + 2 kids (550 + 490 + 150 + 150 = 1350) .

Does this make any sense? Do they return the drafts if they reject someone?

I would say not to send $490 RPRF for your wife now just send the application fee and wait for them to ask for it.

Application fee will not be refunded incase they reject your case, they will add your family but if application is rejection due to some reason related to your family then complete application will be rejected means yours as well not just your family.

Did a bit of digging on the OPs and I was able to find "non-accompanying family members can become accompanying family members on an application" in a slightly different context (OP6 is for FSW and OP2 is for Family Immg)

OP 6 - Section 6.4. Family members of skilled workers
Family members can be added to the application at any time during the process, including after
the visa is issued but prior to obtaining permanent resident status. Applicants should be
counselled to inform the visa office immediately if their family composition has changed. Please
see OP 2, Section 7.7 for more information on adding a family member during processing.

OP 2 - Section 7.7 What to do if a family member is added to an application during processing?

New family members must be added and non-accompanying family members can become
accompanying family members on an application of a person applying in the family class during
the processing of an application. There may be occasions when a child is born to an applicant
subsequent to the issuance of the visa but prior to obtaining permanent resident status. In these
cases, it may not be necessary to create a new file and start processing all over again. All that is
needed is to have the child added to the sponsorship, the processing fee paid and a medical
examination done. See the CAIPS user guide for how to proceed in these cases.
