Dont worry much. your file was first entered into old caips system and now they are moving to new GCMS system. for this they have to close the file on the old sys and marked it as DM. this happens to many cases couple of months before. Just Pray To ALLAH. HE Will Listen that

Just one thing that visaofficer will put hold on your case as your wife is pregnant and once baby is born your wife and newborn will have to go through the medicals.

Hi Freinds,

I have a doubt.
How to deal Medical Request during pregnancy?
According to a doctor(CIC approved), they wont take chest X-rays till the completion of 4 months(2.5 months now).
But after that they put a sheild and take the X-rays with the concent of the patient.
Will CIC accept x-rays with the shield on?
Should we inform CIC abt the pregnancy now?(I am sure this will further delay the process)
Your help is much appreciated.

I am a post June 2010 applicant, and received my MR some months ago.
As of the time of receiving the MEDS my wife was 7 months preg. Am a cardiothoracic surgeon and I felt the risk was not really worth it. So I asked the VO for a deferment of my wife's Xray exam which they kindly granted. Now my wife has delivered and we are waiting for the baby's Intl passport to be processed here in England. As the X-ray for your wife was deferred due to pregnancy, she should do the X-ray after giving birth of child. It is convenient to undergo both medicals together.
