Achcha what u say about asking (by CHC) for another PPT for a child if photo does not match in Aplications Form and PPt.

I also anticipated this photo mismatch problem but fortunately in our case they did not ask.

My son's passport issued on Feb 2007 which is little over 3 years deadline given by CHC in their passport request letter.

I think this is not a major problem. But, If they find some other issue in that case they may point out this problem also. overall they are little lenient on this . This is my exp and some body could have different opinion on this.

Its really tough to get things done from Passport Offices in India, eepecially in ND.

Now I am only waiting for good news 'Decision Made'.

By the way when I can expect it and also when I can assuem of getting my DD encashed.

Yes. You can. I did the same. I called my Bank Manager and gave him DD details.

you should also get RPRF receipt in 15-20 days time.

I had sent on 8th April. It got en-chased on 16th April and got receipt at home on 21st April.

Guys please answer: I have done my medical on 29th March 2010 & CHC ND recived on 5th April 2010...so far not recived any RPRF recipt etc or any update...i asked from bank that CHC has encashed RPRF fees on 10th April 2010...CAN Please anybody reply how long it take to stamp our PP's?

Hi,

After sending my RPRF, PPs and medical (on the same day), it took me 22 days to get my PPs stamped. Now, the ususal time (acc. to most people in the forum) is from 20-40 days. There could also be delay if CIC is awaiting some security check results which is probably done by third party. Also, it depeneds on the BOF date which is explained in detailed by a very good article by Qorax in this forum. But if they have asked for your PP then 40 should be enough to get it stamped.
