Dear All,
I am new to this forum. I found it very informative and i want to thank all of you for keeping such a valuable source of information and helping all thew newbies out there like me.

I had applied for my PR in New Delhi Visa office on 13th Sept and deposited all my docs on 19th March. On 17th April, I got a letter dated 14th April asking me to submit Landing fees and the passport of my spouse and myself. I've deposited the same on 21st April. They should have received it from courier on 22nd April. Along with the docs, I have sent a letter telling them that i have got a request from my office to go to US in 2-3 weeks. I have also sent a printout of the letter from my manager stating that I should deposit my passport to my office for further processing. I have done following in the meantime
1) I sent a case specific inquiry for the same issue to the address Delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca on 26th April but got no reply yet.
2) I've sent a mail (by filling the form) using the CIC delhi website asking if the process can be expedited or deferred and if my passport can be returned.

Could anyone please advice if CIC can consider this request and probably send my passports back in time. And any clue if I could get an acknowledgement from the CIC on my mails. I hope it doesn't happen but if I get my passport back without stamping, will that mean that my case has been deferred or rejected ?

Any help will be highly appreciated

Hi Myishika, I am in exactly the same situation... I have to travel to UK on 8th May and my passport reached CHC on 13th April... I have requested my office to defer my travel at least for a week... which they have agreed to...
I am keeping my fingers crossed that my ECAS status changes to Decision Made tomorrow...
Please keep me updated if & when you receive a response from CHC.. All the best!

thanx a ton adi well its a bit frightening when you donot get your pp stamping but have faith in god this is a real testing phase all the best n have solid faith

I am still a novice in this immigration forum. I think that ppl get their stamped visa on any day of the week however the website gets updated only on Tuesday.
