Job Searching before Landing Interview - question

Hello everyone! I am a November 2015 in-land applicant and my landing interview is scheduled for July 18. I started job searching, just tweaking my resume and submitting it here and there. Yesterday I received a call back and today I had an interview. They'd like to hire me (in fact, they'd like me to start on July 11, but I won't land until the 18, so they will have to wait that extra week). They're interested in me starting ASAP, so July 19. Is this.. okay? Would I have broken any rules? Honestly, I wasn't expecting to receive any calls backs so quickly, in my previous experiences it has taken 2-3 weeks before I received any calls about my resumes.

Thanks!

go straight from the landing interview to a Service Canada office and obtain you're SIN number...it's that easy..they give it on the spot.

I appreciate my experience was with a work permit, but 8 of us walked in, and walked out with SIN numbers within 40 minutes (no appointments, just walked in), they will check your documents and issue a letter with the number on the spot. Henceforth you are legal to work.

as long as you don't start work until AFTER you land as a pr and have a valid SIN#, there are no rules for how long you must wait to work after landing as pr. there are only rules for working without being a pr or without a valid work permit.

Thanks so much for responding, guys! They'll be adding me to their payroll on July 18, the day I receive my PR & SIN#. Should I ask them to add me to payroll on July 19? I won't start working until the following day regardless, but I just don't want to be in any kind of grey area whatsoever.

Thanks again!
