Job prospects for SAP basis

Hello All,

Starting this thread to get some insight on the prospects for getting a job in SAP basis as soon as I land in Canada.
I have 7+ years of experience in SAP basis and HANA technology and currently working in India in a very big MNC.
Can someone who already has some experience throw some light on this one? How difficult it is to get a Job in my domain?
I heard that if we dont have Canadian experience, then they dont entertain you. Is it true? I dont mind starting as a fresher all over again in the same domain, but eager to find out from experts on their views on this.

Iam taking my wife along, so want to be prepared before I begin my new journey along with her. Please suggest !!

When are you planning to do landling? You already have PR?
You can perhaps start searching from India through agents once visa is stamped.

I have recieved my Nomination on feb 14th, 2017. Waiting for ITA now. I wanted to be fully prepared before I land in Canada. So just wanted to know the propspects of getting a job in SAP BASIS.
