I provided yes to job offer and said no to LMIA. I am working as a full time web developer since may 2014 does this impact my application?. I dont have any LMIA. I am a PNP based applicant. SOme body please help

Hi Harsha,

Have you already gotten an Invitatin to Apply?

I had the same situation. I answered yes to job offer, no to LMIA. It doesn't affect your application in the sense that it doesn't give or take away any points, but I was suggested to change the answer to that question going forward in case the processing officer took issue with that.

So if you can, change the answer to that question going forward. If it makes you feel better, I was advised by an immigration consultant that it shouldn't be a big deal because it doesn't affect my overall score. My application was sent in and is still under process, so hopefully it won't be a big issue.

If you haven't gotten an Invitation to Apply yet, then just edit your profile to change that answer.

Hope it helped!

I am in the same boat Bro I already submitted my application in August. I hope we don't have any issues. Thank you for the positive answer.

There is no possibility of changing when the application is on process rite?

I have said No to both. I assumed only LMIA jobs will be accepted as job offers. Is that correct?

Hi Harsha,

I don't think there is a way of changing that information on your profile once it's under process already. I assumed you hadn't submitted it yet. But in any case, it really shouldn't be a big issue since your overall score is not affected. It comes down to the processing officer but all people I knlw who had the same situation passed scott free, so I say there's a big chance you'll be fine :)

And hi Nuksyed, your answer of no to both questions is totally correct. No worries.

You shouldn't have any issue with it. Your information was correct and you didn't accidently get any points for it. Your app should be fine.

I did the same, I didn't feel it was honest to say no when I do have a job, I got PR. No worries. You did not get points for an LMIA you don't have and that's the only important thing.

Hi Guys I said Yes to that question but no to LMIA in my profile.
I recieved ITA on sept 18 but I m yet to submit my app.
Please sugesst what should I fill in my application. ?
