Job offer points

Folks sorry I'm a little confused again as my case might be a bit different.

Your employer doesn’t need an LMIA to support your job offer if:

1. you have been working full-time for the employer on your work permit for at least 1 year (or an equal amount of part-time work) <--- I was with this employer in the US for 6 years. Then in Canada I'm rejoining this employer on C20 work permit does this mean that I qualify for the job offer points?
2. you have a valid job offer, and <--- YES
3. you have a valid work permit that is exempt from an LMIA under: <--- YES
   • an international agreement
   • a federal-provincial agreement
   • the “Canadian interests” category

So is point 1 above has to be that I be working in Canada for that particular employer for at least 1 year? It doesn't say that specifically. Can I still get the job offer points as I'm have worked for the employer for 5 years in the last 6 years... just that not in Canada, but in the USA. And the current new job offer is for Canada

You do not qualify for the points. Your answer to the first question is "no".

Before you can qualify for the 50 points, you have to work for your employer IN CANADA for a full year. The fact you worked for them in the US doesn't count. You need to complete a year of full time work for them in Canada to claim the 50 points.
