Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello,

I am wondering if I'm applying as Skilled Immigrant to Canada, under (NOC Management Occupations - Information Systems Manager) and with a job offer from a Canadian employer, does my job offer need to be IT-Manager related?

What i mean is, i think someone can find an IT related job through the internet, but i think it is going to be very hard to find an IT Manager position over the internet!

So does my job offer needs to be titled something like (IT Manager ) if i am applying under (NOC Management Occupations - Information Systems Manager)?

1. Either you apply under the 38 NOC as FSW-1 applicant, then your occupation should fall under the demand list.

2. Or you apply under FSW-2, then it does not matter which title or description is mentioned on the Arranged Emplyomeny Opinion (AEO). However you need a indeterminate job offer (meaning offer without any pre-conditions) from your prospective employer & secondly the AEO has to be approved by HRSDC or Service Canada. You yourself cannot apply to Service Canada your prospective employer has to do so. As long as your employer gives you a job from the category 0-2 of the NOC list it does not matter what the occupation is called, as long as your employer is satisfied that you can accomplish the job duties. (however since your experience is of an IT Manager, the prospects have to be similar since that is what you can do!)

So if i went with the second option, to apply under FSW-2, and my prospective employer is willing to apply for Serivce Canada on my behalf, then the job title needs to be under catagory 0 or 1 or 2 of the NOC? right?

And at which stage does my prospective employer need to apply to Canada Service? Before filling and applying to an Skilled Immigration process? or can that be done before i take any step with the immigration?

1. Actually it is called Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC). Not 0,1,2 (Sorry for the error!)

2. If your prospective employer is ready to sponsor your AEO then he should do it immediately. It is always preferable to submit the AEO with the initial app. itself to CIO, Sydney. Although you can submit an app. without the AEO but then you need to qualify first in the 38 NOC & then you can intimate them later as & when you receive the AEO. The AEO also gives you additional points (12 I think) which makes life very easy to qualify for the 67 points!

It is 15 points for AEO (10 + 5 more under the adaptability criteria)

so, let me make sure about something, just in case i got it wrong, if i pass the 67 points without the job offer, and i am qualified to apply as an skilled immigrant, will the job offer (with any IT related job) speed up the process of my application?
