Hi there,

As far as I'm aware, I need to provide a job letter for any jobs that I list on my PR application.

I've been told that for my current job in Canada, I will need to provide two letters. One of them will need to be a letter of current employment and the other will be an offer of employment.

Can anyone shed some light on what these letters have to contain?

Thanks in advance!

The offer of employment is the one you signed before starting the new job. I don't think you can change the content inside.

For letter of employment
• job title
• salary
• period of employment
• hours of work per week
• main job duties you perform on a daily basis* (see note below)
• education required
• skills and knowledge necessary for duties
• work experience required
• include employer contact information

Hi thanks for the reply.

My job offer was over the phone.

Also, it's a temporary full time position that will end in March. I've been told the letter has to show you have a job for at least a year from the application date. I and my employer cannot guarantee that.

What should I do?

You need your employer to provide a letter with details as mentioned in reply #2 above to gain credits for your job experience. You will likely be asked for same in ADR if you don't provide it in application.
