Hello helpful community, as I am in the process of gathering documents I have come across certain concerns in regards to the job letter and NOC which I am hoping you guys can help me out.
-What should the subject of the job letter be? Proof of work experience?
-I am currently working in Canada.(PGWP). I have had 3 jobs so far. All of it accumulates to 2 years and few months. I should be able to obtain letters from all 3 employers. However, all the companies I worked were small businesses. Therefore, I am able to reach the CEO/Director personally and ask him for the letter etc. Will there be an issue if all my letters are in the same format(it will be on the respective company's letterhead). The same format being it will be written in the same formal style with its respective NOC code along with my job duties, job status, work hours, benefits etc.
In short, I am planning to create the letter myself so it contains all the information expected from CIC. I take it to my company, request it to be printed on the letterhead(explain the reasons) and then have the Director/CEO sign and stamp it etc. Ofcourse CIC can call and validate it, search online etc. Therefore, this might lead for the letters to be similar(not exact but similar)
Another concern is 2 of the companies that I worked with(One of them is my current employment) is owned by the same Director/CEO. 2 different companies but same owner. I have T4 from both the companies etc. In short, I was working in this other company as a systems analyst and when the director created another specialized R&D company- he took some of the team members there. Legally both those companies exist, in one of them he is a Project Director and in the other(currently where I work)- he is the CEO. Is this going to be a problem?
Other than the letters, what else should I provide? T4? Paystubs(I do not have any from the previous companies). I do have the T4 and can get the letters.
-Can I choose a primary NOC that I am not currently employed in but have a 12+ months experience?
I only have one NOC skill type-A that I have 12+ months experience in.
I am currently working in skill type-B that I have 7 months and going on...
The other one was also a skill type-B that I have about 6-7 months experience in.
So can I choose my primary NOC which is skill type-A as it has 12+ months experience although I am not employed under that NOC/Company?
Please advice.
Thank you for the patience for reading this lengthy post. I really appreciate the effort being put here.
Cheers.
