According to IRCC customer support, my oath ceremony office is Windsor. I heard that Windsor does in-person ceremonies only and takes a good time to do it. Have any one experience with Windsor?

They're not going to expedite your application unless you give them a very valid reason to do so.

You may get an expedited first passport but not citizenship and let's face it, nobody actually needs citizenship. Your PR card should be perfectly fine for now.

An applicant can apply for expedited processing and I have a valid employment reason substantiated by evidence. See below for IRCC instructions:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...p/become-canadian-citizen/apply/urgently.html

I have done many citizenship applications as an authorized representative and have asked for urgent processing for a few clients of mine. 70% have been approved. Problem is the only office that does not care about these requests is Vancouver Office which unfortunately, my application is currently stuck at. Vancouver office is the slowest and the most inefficient among all across the country.

With regard to your last point, you are wrong. If one wants to work for the federal government, in most positions they require citizenship.

Are all LPP processed in Vancouver? I have been waiting for my LPP for almost two months from the Vancouver office, and the agent told me it has not started.

I have no doubt everything you're saying is true, especially in relation to the Vancouver office but I think my argument still stands. Surely you should and do need a valid reason to jump the queue?

Same boat, last update to mark the citizenship test completed is March 6, I stopped calling 2 weeks because my GCSM notes say they are not started. Unfortunately that’s the reality. Vancouver office is the slowest.

Omg… slowest and most inefficient … but they processed the background check and citizenship test pretty fast, just LPP was stuck since March 6.
