How in the hell is the tracker still down after this many days? If a production site with a large user base like this one was down for days under my leadership at work, I'd get into some serious trouble.

Hi All - Is there any video/step by step guide to file the citizenship application with Spouse and kid together.

Well other candidates got oaths email and citizen certificates too (December and November) I think it’s something to do with the new system they are trying to put in. But it’s so stressful really to not be able to sign to our tracker

"Since the tracker is down, I looked at the "average time" between test completion and a "decision" being made on the excel data of available applicants from last year.
Jan 2024: 75 days; Feb: 63 days; Mar: 42 days; April: 44 days; May: 62 days; June: 64 days; July: 65 days; August: 57 days; September: 51 days; October: 40 days; November: 24 days December: 22 days
Overall average: 62 days.
Median: 50 days.
As this is the stage that takes the longest, I guess people who are waiting for LPP and completion after taking the test should not be "expecting" any updates before 50 days and there's no point checking everyday. If you do get an email update, then that's great!
Note: this is only based on available data of about 1150 applications processed in 2024 for which data is publicly available on the excel tracker below.

I'm from Feb 2025 group. Some friends got FP request or LLP completed last week. Tracker seems down intermittently - everyday someone successfully logged into Tracker then lose access again. I myself never got success since Thursday. It was a little relief for me that IRCC is doing processing while tracker's down.
Estimates for the recent months especially averages are going to be systematically underestimated - because of course they exclude all of the ones that are taking much longer. That is, they are not in the spreadsheet yet, and so not included in either the median or the average.
If you want to see this in action - look at 2025 files. Those are right now showing only the very few that got processed most quickly. (As of today, only three from January are to oath date.)
Just eyeballing the figures above - anything from August or September on is likely showing this effect, and for November and December, it's obvious. And that intuitively makes sense since we believe (are led to believe by IRCC) that ~80% of files are complete in 8-10 months (going from recent timelines posted), which would take us back to ... August.
(After those 80% are through the python, the median should change only a little bit/somewhat slowly, while the average will change more and more quickly because the last 20% are going to be large enough numbers to have more effect.)

Median is the number that really matters and as you said that won't change. Also since there are only a few entries in Nov/Dec they don't really change the outcome at all.
Well, sort of. If you mean the overall figures for Jan-Dec, yep, the average/median is ~ 60 and 50 days respectively. I was referring to the monthly averages listed by month, where looking at the more recent months will mislead.
-I didn't calculate for the whole year but the average shown for most of the months in 2024 - roughly - is 140-160 days. I think for sanity's sake, that's a good guideline, on average files will get through in less than six months. And a bit over that (really, right up to the IRCC estimate of 8-10 months) is 'normal' - not all files can be average or better. I don't know but doubt the median gives a lot more information.
