I have VV applied for my parents who are in India and have travelled a lot over the world in US, Australia Europe etc.
This is their first time applying for Canada Visa.
I am a PR in Canada.

Date of submission: Jan 26th
Biometric Attached: Feb 6th.
Background check - in progress.
Eligibility - not started.

Eligibility Completed - Feb 19th
Background check - in progress

I applied Jan 15th and its been 33 day out of 32 days which is my country processing time, my first attempt was decline due to no ties to country after 16 days decline but on the new one I put kids birth certificate, car, college and work letter, do you think wait time might indicate some positive?

Yes Biometrics is marked completed since Feb 6th.
I have applied for my Parents who are in India. I had Replied with all details on my original thread only.
Per my experience, sometimes it goes straight to completed. For instance, the eligibility wasnt started till friday and today its completed.

I am afraid, wait time doesnt indicate anything though. Canada visa process is notorious for declining genuine applications too.
And, statuses can go from not stared -> completed without even touching in progress.
Dont worry, it will come thru.

I'm positive you got this, at least yours changed status but in progress whine last month.

Anyone seeing that the biometric number is shown in the summary but the tracker says " your action is required, we need your fingerprint to ....". This is a bit strange. Not worried but just checking if this is normal now
