January 2024 - Outland Spousal Sponsorship

Hi All,
Kindly help me with following queries:
Situation: I obtained PR in Dec and will be travelling (1st PoE) to Toronto by the end of March. So I will obtain my PR Card & SIN by April first week or so.
Agenda: To bring my wife to Canada ASAP and ensure her PR.
Queries:
1. Can I sponsor Spousal Visa before moving there itself? Or do I have there first to sponsor anyone?
2. What is the correct method?
a. Obtain Visitor visa first, move to Canada, Apply for Spousal PR, Apply for OPW based Spousal AoR
b. Apply for Spousal PR in home country, Apply for TRV based on Spousal AOR, Move to Canada.
3. If both are correct in Q2, which has better success rate?

Hi, from what I've learnt, we still need to prove that we'll come back. Even if it is dual intent, we need to focus on the TRV and the spousal application separately. Because the visa officer will not care if you've applied for a spousal sponsorship. They will treat your TRV application as any other TRV application, and all the rules that apply to other TRV applications will apply to you. So make sure to provide enough proof that you'll come back to your home country at the end of your visa's validity. Good luck!

My spouse has both temporary and permanent in CNIC from Pakistan. Can anyone tell me what address should I put while creating profile on permanent residence portal, the temporary or permanent? My spouse is living at temporary address at the moment and will continue to live till PR visa.
