Received P1 September 3rd, replied the following day saying I had overseas travel plans soon. Finally got a reply today saying to reply again upon return to Canada.

In a bit of a holding pattern for a bit but the end is in sight.

Update: I received my Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) today. Here is my full timeline:

  • Submitted: 2024-01-14
  • AOR: 2024-01-31
  • BIL: 2024-02-21
  • Biometric Submitted & Completed (GCKey): 2024-02-23
  • Medical Exam Instruction: 2024-02-28
  • Webform to submit OPW upfront Medical Exam: 2024-02-28
  • Medical Exam Passed (GCKey): 2024-03-10
  • Pre-Arrival Services Letter: 2024-05-08
  • Portal 1 email received: 2024-09-04
  • Portal 2 email received: 2024-09-17
  • CoPR received: 2024-09-19
Your timeline doesn’t show SP and AIP were received before you received P1, P2 and CoPR. Please confirm if that was the case.

I didn't receive the AIP. What is SP?
Sorry, I meant SA (sponsor approval). The application to sponsor my spouse was submitted the second week of February 2024. Medical and biometrics were done in March and April respectively. We also received the pre-arrival letter and SA in June. We contacted IRCC early of August to get an update on our file, and we were told my spouse passes the eligibility but we still haven’t received AIP.

Hello guys I was asked to pay 85$ for my biometric on the third which i did but they saw it on 20th.but when I called them they said I have been approved.how long do you think I could get my p1

Yes, my sponsor received the eligibility letter on 2024-05-09.
