Any updates on delay in processing due to the public service strike for Jan spousal applications?
Still haven’t received medicals or PPR email. It seems like things are quite slow now!
Will the strike cause more slowness? What do you think? I think from 2023, things were supposed to be faster right?

TL;DR: It may affect processing time.
The moment we thought that finally the government started to process things quickly lol ... Nope, something else has to happen!
Well, they mentioned in that comment that Visa processing centers outside Canada (Assuming that =Visa Offices) are not affected by this.
But still ... it's been a month since we did biometrics and they didn't ask for medicals yet. Over 90 days already since submission

Same day I received email-OVS Sponsorship Eligibility Decision

Okay.. ours also received since it was handled by agent I wasn't aware of terminology as ovs , sponsorship eligibility is complete. March 24 medical updated.. no updates aftr that .. still waiting for final decision after background check and confirmation email. The strike may cause more delays now.
