My LPP got updated! Finally, the day has come! Right before the weekend! Can't wait for the citizenship ceremony email!

Just finished my citizenship ceremony and the Oath. It was a zoom meeting with 120 people.
I would prefer this event to be in person, however, now I am a Canadian citizen and I wish all of you the best of luck.

For anyone waiting on the SCR office, I have a small update. My LPP is finally set to complete on 21st July. Citizenship test was completed on March 29th and there was no update since then. This should give SCR folks some hope.

I wasn't expected citizenship process so quick, as getting PR process took 3.5 years...(not counting 2 full years throught BC provincial nominee program)....( It came up covid time)

we've got the oath letter:
1. paper application (family 4) sent in January 14, 2023
2. Test invate May 3; test window May 10-30
3. test is done 24 May 2023, updated in May 26,2023
4. Physical presence/Language/background completed June23,2023
5. Citizenship ceremony letter July 19( evening)2023
6. ceremony date JULY 27,2023

Thank you, @dejected for keeping moral up! At the end, when you get through your LPP, and be on your final stretch, it won't matter how long you had to wait for it. Trust me, in hindsight, I now see it more clearly. seeing April 2023 applicants moving on with the oath, while January 2023 and even earlier applicants are stuck at some point is frustrating. It will happen! The time will come! Cheer for you!

P.S. Guys, seeing all of your support, likes on my LPP post is so moving and touching. We are basically, and technically strangers, don't know each other, but I felt your support! This is something special, something, I suppose - Canadian! I am lucky and honoured to have you all as my compatriots
