Where was your file transferred for further processing?

It was when I got Sponsor Approval. April 13th. There is no visa office mentioned. So it is CPC Ottawa. I got PPR from CPC Ottawa.

Anyhow, I got 2 more ghost updates, in August 30,31. Totally 13 ghost updates in August.

But no in all seriousness, your wife should have gotten her pre arrivial if anything. She didn't serve in the Army so her background check shouldn't take that long. Hopefully you'll get some good news by December, the latest January.

As my wife passport is issued from a visa exempt country she doesn't need an eTA once she has CoPR. For countries requiring visa, visa office will automatically issue permanent resident visa upon PPR. You can refer https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1184&top=16 for more details.
