Where is it that you are seeing ghost updates? Is it in the ecas system? I have access to the portal and GCKey, but when I try to access ecas, it cannot find the application in the system. I have tried using the PA's ten digit UCI and the application number starting with F... Still not finding the file. Any thoughts? We applied online, so it that why it is not in ecas?

On the PR tracker, at the top you will see when they last updated it. If the date is recent but there are no changes to the status, that would be a ghost update.

People are saying that online applications will not have access to ECAS - this is true for us.

I do not know that. They have not mentioned anything in Sponsor Approval letter.
Might be Ottawa.

If your sponsor letter does not say "application forwarded to xxxxx office for processing" then your VO will be Ottawa.

That means the IRCC is reviewing the application, but no one could say for sure when the application would progress...

I haven't received any updates since then.

I'm just thinking to request GCMS notes....if I do this, do I need to apply on behalf applicant? or the sponsor?

Are you Iranian by any chance? I am the sponsor and my husband I am in the process of sponsoring is Iranian and his application was sent to Anqara.

Have you finished your Biometrics and Medical? If you do go ahead and order your GCMS notes, give us an update.
