I will just wait for a bit. You are still well within the timeline. As you can see from my timeline, I waited for a good bit, and then it just started moving really quickly. I know its so hard to wait, but stay patient is all I can say. I wouldn't bug them either with webforms or anything at this stage. Just give it some more time.

Jan 24th was application date, sitting on Pre Arrival since mid July. Ghost updates since then almost daily.

EDIT: Application got updated today, background verification completed. So, now everything is completed, and we have Pre-Arrival. Waiting for PPR now.

My Sister applied for her Husband by online application on April 30, 2022. yesterday her application returned and now we have couple of questions I hope we can get help here.

so when she sign in on her account this one shows on top

Where is it that you are seeing ghost updates? Is it in the ecas system? I have access to the portal and GCKey, but when I try to access ecas, it cannot find the application in the system. I have tried using the PA's ten digit UCI and the application number starting with F... Still not finding the file. Any thoughts? We applied online, so it that why it is not in ecas?

Also, my wife has two children, one dependent which is accompanying, and one (22 year old) that lives on his own and is staying in Ukraine. We have managed to get the medical done for the 22 year old as requested. Will he also need to give biometrics even though he is not going to Canada? VFS is not working in Kiev for biometrics, and he is on limited travel due to the war, so not able to attend Lviv to give biometrics if it is required.

What age was the 22 year old when you applied? If was 22, then already deemed independent and none of this should be required.

Assuming was 21, you could write and ask for an exception to the biometrics requirement as not feasible (and since not accompanying, will no longer be eligible once this pr sponsorship is complete).
