Another hopeless week for Vancouver office applicants........

Another request from Vancouver processing office scans of my passport. For those that received this request did you have to translate stamps that had English and another language on it? For example, I have entry/exit stamps from Pakistan, UAE, Malaysia and the last page of my passport is in Urdu.

If I were in your situation I would get away with Oath & just travel on the existing overseas passport.
What is your current nationality?
Can you pls share your timelines & processing office too?

I am a Pakistani. If I take the oath, then my PR card becomes invalid and I wont be able to travel. There is no way I can get my Canadian passport in just 2 days. The call centre agent told me to wait for the invitation letter and then send an email to them asking to reschedule.

My AOR is March 14 and the test invite had come from SCR email, so I am assuming its the Scarborough office.

You should email them to reschedule it later when you are back as that would allow you enough time to get Citizenship Certificate & apply for Canadian passport too.

Me & my wife has everything else completed since Nov 9th 2022 still awaiting for Oath. Current status for Oath not started for us..Wait is killing us now as we have travel plans since long time.

I am noticing from other forums that Scarborough & Montreal office already scheduling oath for March & April applicants. It looks like Vancouver office still dealing with Nov, Dec applicants.

Can everyone else please post here in thi reply thread if you are still awaiting oath from Vancouver office?

Vancouver office processing pace after holiday is not picking up. Many Vancouver applicant are complaining about the same.

Only positive I see is in-person oath happening for Vancouver on 20th Jan.

1) Are oath ceremonies from Scarborough office in-person or virtual these days?

2) If virtual, then how long does it take for the citizenship certificate to be delivered?

3) If in person, then how long does the passport take to be ready after applying under urgent processing?
