made a mistake - submitted online application.

has anyone got a oath ceremony who applied online in Jan ? seems like paper application is much faster than online

Thanks for clarifying service standards. So its 12 months.

IRCC is a little clever. They know they are supposed to be meeting "service standards" so in order to make them look better than they are, all the backlog applications go further back in the line. Since these numbers have already made their stats look bad, they leave these applications in the backlog and concentrate on trying to process the new ones within the 1 year timeline. This way there won't be any new additions to their backlog and overall pile of "processed" applications will be higher. Which is why you see applications that are in the backlog stay in the backlog for a long time.
 
After test how long do they take to update everything else? I did my test in June 2022.

Where do you see the Oath date? My application was updated on Aug 10th that all checks have completed except Oath Ceremony and no update since.
On ECAS, it says Decision made since Aug 9th.
 
How do I update my address. I applied on paper from Montreal but have now shifted to Mississauga
 
Does anyone know what bucket I’ll be in ? Applied dec ‘21, but ircc asked for missing info feb 15th(I assume when they were sending AOR for Dec). I sent info within 2 hours, then got my AOR march 22nd. It was because I had used the wrong elibility date even though I qualified already, but I had calculated my physical presence some weeks before application date. But even though one qualifies already, it should be the date of application

Do they use application date or AOR date when processing ? Mine is still in progress

Unfortunately they use the AOR date for processing. So it would be from 22MAR2022. its weird, but this is what i have seen and many raising concerns.
