Hi Everyone:

How long after test is everything else updated, like physical presence etc? Did my test in June 2022. Thanks.
NO set time. Could be 15 days or 4 months. Depends on the IRCC office location also where your application is handled. Some are fast, most are slow.

Yea, I realize there is no real consistency with the process, so as usual it's a wait and see situation

Hard to say with certainty but I think I read somewhere on the forum that Edmonton office is one of the worst in processing delays. This might explain the extended wait perhaps.

Hey folks, just curious to know if fingerprints can be submitted from outside of Canada or not?
I dont think so because on rcmp site they have clearly mentioned "There are no private fingerprinting companies accredited by the RCMP outside of Canada. "

hello friends, its urgent, can anyone help me out ( how to send the scanned passport copies to ircc. they said the maximum file size that can be attached to the email is 5mb. what does it mean...? each page should be less than 5mb or the whole folder. i have around 35 pics in my folder and the size is less than 5mb. should i send them whole folder or should i attach every single scanned pic to the email.)

Make electronic copies of all the pages of passport(s) and travel document(s) by using a scanner or camera. The electronic copies should reflect what is on the documents.
 The maximum file size that can be attached to the email is 5 MB.
 Try to send one email for all your documents and use one of the formats we accept: .tiff, .jpg, .png, .doc, .docx and .pdf. You can’t upload any other file format.
 If your electronic copies are too large to upload (over 5 MB), please visit our website or read the below information to see how you can reduce their size.
 Save the document with your last name, application number, and the IRCC Office nearest your residential address (Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, or Saskatoon). Example: Smith – Cxxxxxxxxx (Edmonton)
 In your email, the subject line should also state your application number, last name, and the IRCC Office nearest your residential address (Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, or Saskatoon). Example: Cxxxxxxxxx - Smith (Edmonton)

You can try mailing them 4 photos to a page to the address found on the email you received. That's what I did.

Better to send them all 35-pages in one single pdf file.

Send everything in one file. You might need to resize the images if they are too big. If you have a UPS store nearby, they can do that for you. Ask them to put everything on a USB. That way, you will also have a copy.

Why IRCC does not process January 2022 online applications? Those paper applications sent in February or April have already been processed. Is this the so called first come first serve?
