I have nothing against paper applicants, just frustrating to realise IRCC doesn’t understand first in first out principle. I understand delays but surely not this.

Exactly. My constant complaining about slow online processing is seen as being anti-paper applications. Which is certainly not the case.

But the difference in online and paper applications is ridiculous and IRCC purposely misled applicants to apply online.

I agree. I have waited too long to now withdraw my application.

In July 2022 a lot of the November 2021 folks were getting test invites. So hopefully you can get a test invite in a couple of months or so. Hang in there. I am a March 2022 applicant. I should expect test date in December or January at the earliest.

Indeed, we have similar timelines. My AOR is Aril 7th.

paper applicant from Toronto here. after my background verification was completed on Apr.1, there has been no movement on my application at all. I'm still waiting for test invite. Can't really figure out what may have caused the delay. So sad....

That's weird for paper applicant. Try applying for GCMS notes. That might move your file forward.

You should feel fortunate. IRCC won’t process online applications for about half a year
