My file was received Jan 21 2021. Been 1 year of processing today and I still haven’t received prearrival/DM/PPR. It is so disappointing to see may/June applications getting PPRs while Jan application are still not being touched.
nothing against other applicants but this is not fair to people who have applied much earlier and waiting on responses.
I am wondering if there’s anyone else in same situation or is there any Jan 2021 outland Whatsapp group??
here’s my complete timeline:
Application received- Jan 21 2021
AOR1- Feb 20 2021
Medical passed - Feb 20 2021
(Upfront Medical was
Complete silence for 4-5 months
SA approval- July 15 2021
BIL - July 15 2021
File transfer to Delhi- July 15 2021
Complete silence for another 3 months
File received at Delhi - Oct 22 2021
In process on Ecas line 2 - Oct 25 2021
Ordered GCMS - it says file is in Ottawa IR office. Not sure how come file is bejng transferred from home country to ottawa office again and how does that affect my processing time
complete silence since Oct 25 2021.
There was a ghost update on Jan 14 but nothing after that.
my medical expired on Jan 10th and now waiting for next update
This is indeed a tough phase for everyone who is away from families and simply waiting to reunite while immigration showing no mercy

Hi, my wife received the passport request today. However, her medical exam report expires in two weeks. It takes at least 3 weeks to get the passport with the visa back since it has to be sent to Turkey and return. In the passport request, they did not advise us to re-do the medical exam. Does anyone know if we need to re-do the medical or it is ok since the visa office has not said anything.
Hello Everyone, I will be applying for my spouse who is in India. I am a canadian pr. I have a question, I hope if you can please help.For the documents from the sponser side, do I only need the following:-
1. Pr card
2. Provincial Identitiy proof or driving license (for address proof)
3.Employment letter
4. Bank statements
is there anything else that I need to submit that has to be from sponser side only? I am not mentioning marriage certificate,chats, photos etc. as they are responsibility of both. Also. do I need to submit copr copy as well? I lost it somewhere and I am so worried if it is needed, please let me know .Thank you for your time.
