Welcome home. Yes still treated as outland, it can't be changed from out to in, advise them of your new address. No additional docs required. You aren't eligible for an OWP since you applied outland even though you are now in Canada. It will be refused.
As I am in Canada and have a visitor's visa, can I apply for a change in status to apply for my visitor's visa to a work permit?

I WILL SAY IT AGAIN.

No you can not, you are still a visitor with an outland PR application in process until you become a PR. As an outland applicant you do not qualify to get an OWP even though you are now in Canada. Also note that before the time allowed on your visitor visa come to an end you will have to apply to extend your visitor visa. You should apply for the extension a month before it will expire.

I have that alarm on my phone to apply one month before. Can I withdraw my OWP application and get a refund? If yes would I submit that via a web form?

You don't have to withdraw the OWP app as it wasn't valid to start with, they should automatically issue the refund for the fees.

I added the sponsor's last pay stub showing continuous income. The employer letter was a few months old because of COVID. I felt it made it stronger to show that he was still working. I also added bank statements/summaries to show joint accounts and totals. If you feel that it will explain your case more, then add it. I don't think it could hurt. I am kicking myself for not adding more. I was just worried about adding too much because of the statement about not sending more than 10 documents to show proof of contact. I think I could have sent more as proof of relationship. Driver's license is not required, just your passport.
Thanks a lot for the clarification, just sharing good news I got my AOR1 today, CIC is working very fast now, hoping we all will get our Spouses in Canada really soon.
I have attached my letter from employer which was just 1 week old, my tax return 2019, our joint statement from indian bank account, 10 proofs from social media posts, passport page pic showing my visits to India and chats from past few years, 20 pics including wedding, other ceremonies and our outings before and after wedding, social media posts from friends congratulating us and affidavit from my father about our wedding. Hope fully these documents should be enough to make our case strong.

Hello guys,
My best of luck to you all.
I have a question for my wife's outland application. Does she has to complete the biometrics beforehand or should we wait once the application is sent and received by IRCC and then IRCC requests her to take the Biometrics. Confused. Thanks in advance for the help!

I applied on 4th of January and got AOR too. Have you been able to link your application to your gckey?

I agree. I see this as a big strain on relationships. I know mine has had it's not so pretty moments born out of stress from being apart so much. I do think that returning for a small error is ridiculous. They have our numbers and email addresses, so they could call or email for a correction. It should not be sent back months later just to have to restart the clock and to make us have to redo half of the documents, pictures, and security clearances.
Hello my friend,

As they returned my application after 7 months of receiving it, they asked my spouse, the applicant being sponsored, to sign the additional family form which she did and then I updated the undertaking and another form because my address has changed. After I submitted, I have read somewhere that they need the signatures to be within 90 days from the time they receive the application so, there were other 3 forms that were still signed back in June 2020 from the first time so, we signed them again and sent a scan of them through the web form and through the MP of my riding. Do they return the application again if they don't include the submitted forms? what chances I have here?
