Hey guys,

My "Background Verification" got completed on Apr 29th as per the tracker. But, no update after that - is this normal?

yep, similar situation.
though looking at how a lot of people seems to be moving forward this past month and a half i m cautiously optimistic it will be our turn next.

How many days of "presence in Canada" did you apply with? And can you check ECAS to see what date your file starting processing? Normally it's several days before your background check passed.

It's different. It's when they open it and send confirmation (AOR).
The tracker doesn't have the date when it was received in their mail, but that's how we track it here, and I believe IRCC categorizes applications as well.

Update: I don't know if submission date is visible for online applications, but it's before AOR.
Also, in the tracker, it is called "Application Filed" rather then received (they say received and begun processing).

Do we get an actual mail invite for oath ceremony or just tracker and email? I read somewhere that they will send a mail with oath ceremony details and stuff.

Just thought I'd reshare this question, in case it was missed earlier. If anyone knows?! especially those who've already received oath invite.

Hi All, I have a question regarding oath ceremony. I got the invite for it and it says that for emailing the oath form the subject line should be Oath Form - Conducted on Date & Time along with Clerk Initials.

Is this clerk, will be the person who will be verifying my details, address etc whose initials I need to put on the subject line? Can someone please confirm?

Delivery of physical copies of passports: September 13th, 2021

Tracker update to all sections completed: January 24th, 2022 (ECAS shows 'Decision Made')

I think it's different for everyone. Some are updated faster than others. I wrote my test on 17th dec. Test was updated on Dec 22nd 2021 And Decision made on Jan 13th 2022. So about 20 days ish.

Hopefully you get your oath date scheduled at the interview, or immidiately after the interview! I added it in the comment schedule, but wasn't sure if I should change "Test Interview date" to January 24th? Or leave it as the day you wrote your citizenship test...

Thanks. Just finished the interview, was only a couple minutes long. She just wanted to verify my ID and that I was back in Canada since I wrote my citizenship test from outside Canada. She mentioned that it's in process and I should get my citizenship ceremony invite in a few months. Ugh.

I guess comment section is okay. It's more for other people rather than me really.

Congrats! I've updated you in the tracker. Thanks for sharing your timeline. Could you please share where you applied from / what office was processing your application? As well if it was just a single application vs a family application (# apps?). As well, do you know a) the date when everything except oath was marked complete or b) the date on the oath ceremony invitation letter?

Applied from Halifax, NS. I believe the Halifax office was processing my application. The ceremony was organized by Halifax office.
