Got my Oath details emailed to me today, December 22. Oath is scheduled for Dec 31, so the email was received a little more than a week before the ceremony.
Had my Oath on Dec 31. They said they would mail the certificate on the same day, Dec 31. Case closed in the online tracker on January 3. Received my certificate today, January 11. My case was in Scarborough office. Thank you everyone for your help and good luck in the citizenship journey!

Filling out my online citizenship application
1. do we have to upload entire passport copy (including all the pages)
2. paper application guide states:
"Original police certificates or clearances
• You must provide a police certificate for each country or territory where you have been present for 183 days or more in a row (since the age of 18) for the four (4) years immediately before the date of your application"

I'm hoping i will need PCC from RCMP only since i wasn't away for more than 183 days in last 4 years; please correct me if wrong.

thanks in advance for answering my query.

cheers!

PCC is for stay outside Canada fro more than 183 days continuous saty. Within Canada you don;t have to provide any PCC from RCMP.

I've just been called by my IRCC agent who said that they still did not receive my oath confirmation e-mail, while I have sent it same day.
So I have re-sent it and this time I received confirmation of receipt, and the agent confirmed that she has it.
She said that sometimes some e-mails could have issues, so please verify that you've received a confirmation.
My status in tracker was still the same as before the oath and I thought that it will be changed once the certificate is issued, so I just sent request to "standard hotline" where they have replied in a standard way - sit back and relax.
The bad thing though is that the agent said that due to remote working restrictions - she does not know when it will be possible to get to the office to print and send certificates. As they can process it remotely by the printing is "in person" :(
So another 4 weeks, may be more
Just to finish the story - the certificate has been delivered already (so in about a week).
However it looks like now it is only possible to apply for the passport by mail, unless you have a proof that you need it sooner that 25 business days

Thank you.
Glad to hear of another paper application with similar timeline to mine getting citizenship invite. Hopefully we're not too long behind... Application delivered same day (Jan 21), AOR Mar 18 (1 day after you), and BCG complete May 20 (16 days after you). Hoping for an invite soon :) Good luck on your test, and the rest of your citizenship journey!

Yes, I saw that you can only apply by mail now. I wonder when this changed? I was just submitting my daughter's passport application, and saw that I need to mail it now. We're in the process of applying for a Thai passport later this month, so I guess I need to wait until after we apply for the Thai one, as I can't send my original birth certificate to Canada when I need it for the Thai passport. So much easier just applying in person when applying for two at the same time :(

All of the items, except for Oath ceremony, have been completed since Dec 9. However, the oath ceremony is still marked 'not started'. Is it normal? I see most people have their oath letter days after decision made.
