I passed the citizenship test on august 23 and till now it’s indicated in progress, do you think that my test is not validated?

From the timeline, it should be done by 7 days! (on an average)

Do you have any specific reason that your test will not be validated? Besides, i guess, you have the result unofficial email. You can call IRCC and ask them what happened to your test!

Hi everyone,

All the status have been completed except citizenship ceremony on Oct 4 in the new tracker. Last updated October 6. But ecas still shows in progress.

Any idea why its not Decision made?
If anyone have any idea about the current timeline for the oath after all the status have been completed?

I contacted IRCC about my test and they informed me that my test is invalidated due to technical problems

Ops sorry to hear that. Whats the next step then? Did they tell you when you can reappear the exam? did you ask them why the exam was invalid? whats the reason of tech problem!

Update : official letter received Sept 29 request for photocopies of all passport pages

Guys, during my test, everythinf went fine, but while I was answering test questions during the 30 mins, there was a box on bottom right with a red sign.

It seemed like it should show my camera or something but it didnt show anything, just a red sign.

Is this fine, anyone else had this issue?

You should have received it by now. By the looks of it they are working on applications sent on the week of 30th June. Doesn't hurt to give IRCC a call, if you get lucky to get through to an agent.

In this case Nexus doesn’t count. I guess you are American. The next step for you in the tracker will be decision made. Congrats

Also, no I am not American. I am Indian with Canadian PR but I have been in Canada long enough to qualify for a Nexus card (as I do have my US visa). I submitted it along with my passport copies anyways, just in case.

Do you have to travel frequently to the States? I ask because I heard that PR's of Canada that doesn't travel much aren't given NEXUS cards during the US border interview. Good for you, I bet airport security is a breeze.
