Yes, I too got the update this morning. BG is now showing as completed. Last update date: 11th August 2021.

Any idea in what situation does IRCC ask for RCMP fingerprints? Can we get them done ahead of time without an IRCC request?
(Planning on going back home in november and thinking if I get a request at that time, will delay application process and if there is a choice of getting in done proactively)

-Wrote the test outside of Canada.
Will be submitting the passport copies in a day or two. Kindly share if anyone knows about the approximate time to oath invitation.
Since, I already have the direct flight ticket from India and don't want to go into hassle of indirect route. Please let me know if anyone knows about taking | rescheduling oath from outside Canada. Has anybody received oath invitation while outside Canada and replied back to ircc?

Hey how do you mean direct flight from India? Are you transiting via Frankfurt? If you’re in India, you have to take a test to come back to Canada from a third country right?
once they get your passport copies, next step usually is Decision made. I guess they didn’t ask you for fingerprints?
You have to take your test in Canada I believe. They recently allowed taking online test from outside but not the oath itself.
I had booked flight New Delhi- Toronto but it got cancelled during the ban. So airline gave me a ticket which is valid for one year.
I already gave my test from outside Canada and passed it. ( They recently allowing people to do that ) After that received passport copies request letter. Nah, they didn't asked for fingerprints.
I am planning to stay in India until I get the oath invitation. Not sure what will happen when I notify IRCC that I am outside India after receiving oath invitation. Even if I get the oath invitation or not since they already know that I am outside Canda because of the citizenship test. If anyone here has gone through this process please share the details.
