Hello,

Any Jan/Feb/March applicant still waiting for the “decision made” status like me here? Vancouver applicant here, and I somehow feel I’m the only Feb applicant still waiting for the oath. I took the test about 2 months ago, but not only no oath ceremony has been scheduled for me yet after 1.5 years, but also all items either are in progress or has not started except the test and background verification which are completed. Any applicant in the same boat here? I don’t know what to do. Thanks.

Here is my timeline:

Application delivered: February 9, 2021
AOR: April 13, 2021
Fingerprint required: September 15, 2021
Fingerprint received: October 28, 2021
Background verification status updated to Completed: October 29th, 2022
Citizenship test taken: May 2nd, 2022
Citizenship test status changed to completed: May 5th, 2022

Last update: May 5th, 2022

Mine took 11 weeks from test to oath invite. Hang tight, I am sure you will get your oath invite soon.

Yes there arew several of us. Jan 2021 for me, BG completed May 2021, test taken Apr 12th 2022, updated in tracker Apr 25th . Nothing since then. IRCC works in mysterious ways

I hope we get an update soon.

First I got an update on Monday morning in the tracker, then yesterday I received an email.

Advanced Canada Day Gift .

almost 1.5 years Journey is over.

Finally, today me and my wife applications closed in citizenship tracker . Minor daughter application is still in-process in new tracker.

Oath ceremony : 21 June, 2022 , Calgary.

Old tracker(ecas) still showing Decision made.

Now waiting started for citizenship certificate and chaotic passport application process.

I really thankful this group members and admins, who are given amazing valuable information .

Hello Everyone,

We as family submitted the paper based citizenship docs in Jan 2021. My wife got FP request last May 2021 and we got that done at same time and BG completed after few weeks. Now last week in her profile. BG again change to in progress and again request for FP stating the old one is expired. Do any one has been in the same boat ? As per other people timelines, we are expecting the OATH request in July, but due to this any idea how much delay we can expect ?

similar boat, no update for me since April but my BG (should have) expired in May so I expect it to change back to in progress at some point before I get the oath request.
Some other users here had to submit passport scans for the period between jan 2021 (when you sent your file) to know and some had to go through fingerprinting again. Normally IRCC should contact you to let you know what they need, if anything

Yeah we were requested again for FP and BG moved to In progress. Sorry you are saying you resubmitted the FP and no update ?
