well it took forever but FINALLY I have a date for the oath: May 30th, just got the update today in the tracker. End of the process for me, best of luck to everybody still waiting. Not sure if contacting my MP helped or not but if you are still waiting, try it too.

ghost update for me March 2nd, but still nothing otherwise. I emailed my MP again now that I m way over the average processing time and surprisingly they asked follow up questions and said they l ll try and bring it up to IRCC so we ll see what comes from this....

nothing unfortunately, still waiting on oath. I am not super happy about the situation but contacting IRCC (or my MP) yields no extra info, they basically just say to wait...

my last update was november when all was (finally) marked as complete, i took the test back in April 2022. Still waiting on oath, my MP says there s nothing she can do and webform replies are generic. Frustrating process for sure

I applied through paper in jan 2021 and still not done, oath not started, so it s more the luck of which agent/centre you end up with than the medium it seems. Best of luck to you~

update this morning: everything set to completed (language, presence and prohibition). All is green except ceremony: not started. Things are finally moving, 23 months later~ Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

Ghost update yesterday, nothing obviously changed but they put stars with "new update" on all my previous milestones (citizenship test invitation, citizenship test marked complete etc) so I assume it means someone just looked at it again?

Honestly I am very quickly reaching the point where having the oath just as my 24 months are up would be more of a problem than not because I absolutely have to travel at the end of February and I am worried if I don't get the oath by the end of December there won't be time to get a passport and...

apologies, it s been 8 months since I took the test. Application submitted January 2021. I sent the email 2 weeks ago and got a reply this past Friday. Last update: test passed April 12th 2022. Then the new tracker update in October but no change in the categories in process at that time.

I did , they replied they were very busy because of covid and they have a lof of files, so I should wait. It s been 8 months for me.... Ottawa office if that helps

Unfortunately the ghost update, dated either Oct 7th or 8th depending on people, is due to the new tracker they rolled out. AFAIK BG Check expire after a year, mine was completed May 2021 so it should be expired but it still shows completed and nothing else has changed saved for October 7th 2022...
