Hi all,

After a long gap I checked the tracker this morning and was surprised to see the "Citizenship oath activity status updated" on May 17th. Our Oath is scheduled for June 10th. We are very excited

Are the Oath ceremonies happening in person now?

I just checked the tracker, all sections have been updated to " completed " on April 21st, 2022 except the Oath ceremony " Not Started ".

Also, I checked Ecas, it says " Decision made ". Hope to get the oath invitation soon. Will keep you updated.

Finally got our citizenship certificates today in mail ! Thanks everyone for guidance and wishes. It took exactly 10 days from the oath ceremony

my status finally changed to "Decision made today". Here are my case's updates:

Background check: June 10, 2021
Citizenship test: March 10, 2022
Decision made: May 30, 2022
Oath ceremony: Not started yet

Hello! I've got my Language and Presence completed on Friday as they changed my BG to "in process" as it expired in April. Today, BG went to completed. Prohibitions are still in process. Does anyone have experience with how long it takes to DM from here? Montreal office.

Finally Oath done. Took about 1.5 hours long, I feel in person is better than online but what can you do right?
The biggest reason to get this citizenship done was to get the passport so that I wouldn't have to pay high fees for Visas! However, now I hear its 3-4 months wait, could be longer! Anyways, all the best everyone, I do not feel any different, I felt much happier when I got the PR I guess!
