this means that the applicants who were receiving emails to confirm whether they are in Canada would no longer get those emails. however, for those who have their security pending or info sharing in progress only and rest passed, the progress on the same shall remain static till borders completely open, i understand.

Until phase 2, things will remain as they are. Once Canada announces phase 2, you will see many changes and things will speed up.

Hi @legalfalcon ,
I have not received a BIL yet for my partner. Mine has been updated automatically from a previous visitor visa application. It has been more than 6 months since my AOR. Can the eligibility phase be treated even though my partner's finger prints issue has not been cleared yet? Is it ok if I order gcms notes now or shall I wait until I receive the BIL and finish with the finger prints of my partner first?
Thanks in advance.

It appears that IRCC is processing the bulk of the CEC applications and not the over variants. Is this information accurate of FSW applications from Jan are seeing some movement in their application?

Hey there, do any of you have any knowledge about the GUs?
I mean, how many GUs we will get?
I got my second GU in last 7 days.
What does this mean?
How long will it still take to getting the golden email?
May be @legalfalcon could help ?

My AOR is Jan 9th, CEC Inland.

GUs have since lost its relevance. Read very little into it.

The processing continues even if the biometrics is pending.

By now your eligibility should have been started and would be a good time to request your GCMS notes.

Hello @legalfalcon,
I am really very worried as one of the institution where i worked in 2010- 2014 has changed its name. I am PNP-outland nominee (sinp). And now my pr application is in eligibility process since march. I have two concerns in view of above situation-
1. Does it take so long for eligibility to get pass? Or is it because of the change in institution name that my eligibility is stuck?
2. Do i need to inform ircc regarding this or should i wait?
Thanks in advance..

Hi Everyone,

Anyone has any idea how much time will the govt of Canada take to resume FSW processing at a normal speed.. Any hopeful people here. Or should we forget it

Eligibility is the longest stage and can take a few months. IF your employer has changed the name, inform IRCC. It will have no impact on the processing as such, but if IRCC verifies your employment they will be aware that the employer has changed the name.

Thankyou so much for your advice.

AOR January 11, 2021
Biometrics and Medical done
Medical Passed 4th February 2021.
EE FSW. I applied when I was in India but currently, I am in Canada since I am a student.

No update received after that. I ordered my GCMS notes (ordered on April 14 and generated on April 26) as I am in Canada and saw the following :
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete
CPC- Ottawa

I have got my Canadian address and phone number also updated in my application. This was seen in the GCMS notes but still my application hasn't seen an update since March 2 2021( as seen in the Notes section of the GCMS notes). Considering they are prioritizing people who are eligible to enter Canada, I do not get why my application is not moving. Any recommendation on how to let IRCC know that I meet your criteria for prioritizing EE applicants?
@legalfalcon any recommendations on how I can try to ensure my application gets processed sooner? I wrote to IRCC about it but I have not got any updates. Also when should I ask for my GCMS notes again?

There is no way to expedite the process.

If your eligibility is conclusively passed, the GCMS notes won't help you much. Instead your can send webform and get the details on security and final decision.
